Mitsuwa curiosities…

This is a hand massager that you can disguise as Rome’s famous “Mouth of Truth.” You just put the little cutout in front of the massager, then stick your hand in, and then your hand gets stuck in a death grip while the machine makes a loud growling laughter sound. How relaxing.

Totally cute packaging, but the farmer seems to be planning something nefarious and the horse has no idea. That weird baby in the corner just looks evil.

“Let us out!”

It’s the Spring Garden Show at South Coast Plaza…

There’s always some gorgeous, elaborate floral display.

It’s all made of plant material, a la the Rose Parade…

It was delightful, as always.

And unlike past years, there was some affordable stuff to buy.

I purchased an Tillandsia (air plant) that hasn’t died yet.

Fingers crossed.

It was terribly enjoyable and the display was wonderful.

Easter decor

You can’t have too many bunnies.

Moses the Law-Giver action figure, ready to go!

It’s hard to believe that at some point we had the patience to do blown eggs and decorate them with tiny pieces of tissue paper. But we did. They turned out very well too, if I do say so myself.

Some appropriate vintage sheet music.

A little paper Easter tree.

I’m a sucker for those paper bouquets.
