A place for my photos and thoughts and stuff.

Shame on you, Michael’s!

There’s something weird going on with the physiology of this guy…

Just saying hi to one of the neighbors…

Halloween has gotten a tad more…intense…since I was a kid…

This is more my speed…

Keeping an eye or two on the Halloween goings-on…

Not sure what’s going on here, but my guess is, they’ve overwatered their lawn…

It’s that time of year, and there’s not always going to be a superhero and first responder around to help you.

‘Tis the season!
The numbers that appear in some of the captions refer to a photo challenge requiring that I take 25 fall photos.

Very similar to an earlier photo this month. But this is different because these are THEME PARK pumpkins! (#1)

Old Betsy…many’s the time I climbed up into the engineer’s seat and “drove” this train. Generations of kids, before and after mine, can say the same. (#2)

A pair of disgruntled lizards.

“Boot Hill.” One of my favorite spots at Knott’s. (#3)

I felt the beating of his heart! Thank you Hiram McTavish!

If you want my opinion about what makes Knott’s still great (although not as great as it was), let me just point out this display right here. The whole park used to have this vibe. And it was AWESOME.

Catawampus and Catawampus, Jr.

I had a really gourd time! (#4)

Here is Alfie in her hot dog outfit during the annual 15 seconds that she has it on before wiggling out of it. (#5)

Horrors, large and small, cute and creepy… (#6)

(#7)

(#8)

(#9)

(#10)

(#11)

(#12)

I particularly liked this one. It’s supposed to imply the guy is breaking out of his grave. But I prefer to think of it as the lawn being carnivorous. (#13)

I wish we had trick or treaters so I could help fill them with candy! (#15)

Look at these beauties! (#16)
