Water? Falling from the sky?

To be honest, it was too quiet and a tad subdued without our deeply missed, Alfie. But it was a good Christmas and as you can see, it was quite a haul!
God bless us, every one!
Bring on 2025!

I don’t mind an occasional sleepless night. This kind of thing is one of the reasons why.

Her last photo.
Alfie left us on the evening of October 23 after a full and happy day of walking and romping in the neighborhood, playtime, treats, mealtimes, and plenty of naps. We were blessed beyond measure to have her for 13 1/2 years.

They do not live long enough.
We miss her so much.

Savagely beheaded and consumed by a squirrel.

Time is growing short…

That’s what “dinner on the patio” means, right?

The balsam was beautiful this year.

Sunflowers…

Black-eyed susan vine, as usual…

Moonflower, a night-bloomer, and a descendent of the seeds our old neighbor George gave us decades ago.

Another sunflower…

And the cutest sunflower, the teddy bear variety.

Watching this mom and her two little ones was a real kick.
