What a deal!

Best thing about today? The shoes I wear for my flat (flat!) feet are expensive (Brooks Ariel @ $160 a pop). At least they’re expensive to me. So I’ve taken to searching for them on eBay. I’ve scored a number of good deals on either new or lightly worn shoes and I’ve saved myself hundreds. I’m stockpiling them…it’s my way of prepping, lol. But today I got a virtually new pair for $18. It’s an old model…I believe they’re 2012s…but the damn things look pristine. I am inordinately proud of myself and feel kind of like…

Why can’t I have these?

Why do kids get all the cool bedding? Why does everyone assume that adults like boring colors or stupid florals? Are adults actually that boring and unimaginative or was this just some industry-wide marketing decision that everyone just went along with?
