Adorable Alfie

“Where’s my adoring fan club from New Zealand?”

“When’s that pitbull next door coming outside? I want to taunt it into a frenzy!”

“Oh, I know you like to sit here. But you see, I don’t care.”

“I hate the stupid Pacific Air Show more than anything. Even going to the vet.”

Scenes from a walk…

Alfie says, let’s get this show on the road!

Golden hour shadows.

The full range of the human experience…

…in chalk, on the sidewalk.

I had to look this up this tree…it’s called a golden medallion tree. Beautiful!

Pink plumeria.

I’m always up for some weird cloud action.

Sights from a walk…

On our way…

There’s several enormous plumerias on our route. I can never get them past the “dead looking stick” stage.

Somebody loves somebody.

Everything’s peachy so far.

Leaf print.

Weird, beautiful unsettled sky. This is usually a spring or fall thing.

A rare right-angle palm.

Looks complicated.

I’ve always liked this tile that someone stuck on their fence.

A particularly beautiful hibiscus.

Life…uh…finds a way.

Alfie always tries to rile up the neighborhood dogs.

When I was out walking…

The answer, of course, is, “It’s your fault if something happens because no one will do anything about the wild predator coming over your wall to eat your pet.”

Beautiful succulents.

White irises.

Little free library with an excellent selection of kids books. I know this because I’ve donated quite a few.

Alfie, waiting for her friend Mr. Toes to come at her by sticking his feet under the fence. Judging from their size, this dog is as big as a Clydesdale.

Lovely geranium mix.

Alfie’s quite the rebel. And yes, I always pick up after her.
