These are Maximilian sunflowers and they are wonderful!

There’s a whole lotta love going on here. I wonder if any of them ever got married?

Central Park’s lake, looking good for August. It’s a man-made lake, but the water level is natural. I’ve seen it dried-up some summers.

Taking a wee “hike” over to where we thought we saw an osprey perched in a tree.

…was a big success!
For her. For us, it mostly consisted of us trying to keep her from pulling our arms out of their sockets (she’s a shrimp, but she’s STRONG like ox!), and yelling at her to stop barking.
But she loved it!

There’s a whole lake to swim in…

…and this happens. After a lot of angry honking back and forth, the family on the left relented and did a U turn.

At Central Park West. Not my preferred side of the park, but it has its delights.

Naptime for somebody…

There were kids fishing (just out of frame). Very wholesome.

Spring has indeed sprung.

We don’t have a ton of Christmassy nature around here, but by gum, we’ve got trees with red berries on them!
