Just in time for a bit of a superbloom…
Category: spring
The beautiful freaky flowers of Sherman Gardens…
Orchids are just…weird.
Spring at the park…
Flowers, greenery, and a full lake!
A wholesome family outing.
A popular photo spot. Probably trampled flat by the end of the week by people taking graduation, wedding, etc. photos.
One of my favorite trees. It takes the path of least resistance.
Relaxation.
It’s beautiful to see the lake full again. It’s a natural lake so it’s a good drought measurer.
Beautiful park, beautiful clouds.
Central Park in March…
It’s a cliche, but spring really is the nicest time of year there…
Cherry blossom special…
Birds and bees…
Signs of the times.
Spring has most definitely sprung.
“Daffodowndilly”
Allow me to wax poetic with someone else’s words for a moment:
She wore her yellow sun-bonnet,
She wore her greenest gown;
She turned to the south wind
And curtsied up and down.
She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:
“Winter is dead.”
A shout-out to A. A. Milne for the appropriate description. And no, this isn’t in my yard. None of our daffodils showed up this year.
Beautiful perfection.
Our white camellia bush has some serious health issues, but once in a while it puts out something indescribably beautiful.
When you come to a fork in the road…
…take it!
