Enjoyed this lovely bull statue while going to the El Torito lunch buffet.

Unfortunately, this is the view that greets you as you exit the building. The Feng Shui just seems…off…somehow.
A place for my photos and thoughts and stuff.

Poor Miss Bill. For how many generations will this horrible treatment persist?
The 55 year old linoleum just isn’t cutting it any more.
What will it be?
Today I ended up going to Ikea for the first time in more than a year and realized that I am woefully out of the unique kind of condition you need to be in to physically and emotionally survive such a trip. There’s so much standing…my flat feet and the ankles attached to them hate lengthy standing… backtracking, becoming lost, backtracking some more to use the bathroom, getting lost again, searching among all the bizarrely named products for the one cheap picture frame that you really need, then wandering around again through the soul-sucking warehouse…all in a low-oxygen, slightly too-hot masked atmosphere. I looked at my pedometer and I think I walked three miles in there.
It almost broke me. I almost cried. So I treated myself…I walked out of there with a stuffed dinosaur and an ice cream cone.
Because I’m worth it.
Every year. Like clockwork.
Having 21st century plumbing, the effectiveness of which is likely to outlive me, is a wonderful thing indeed. Yet I am not without my dreams.
Someday…
Caught up with him leaving Sock Harbor in a huff. You can understand his frustration. Buying socks for big feet like that is really hard.
