A place for my photos and thoughts and stuff.

…with her little sleeping pen. I love it unabashedly, however, because when she’s in it, she’s RESTRAINED!

…she only has eyes for the ancient garden hose.

She has even dragged it into the house.

…of sticks. Only the finest will do.

…to being told when to nap.
And no, I’m not letting that thing, whatever it is, out of her little pen. I think it might be a small, nippy demon.

She’s so different than the little mite we brought home at the beginning of the month.
I offer it without apology…

“I dindoo nuffin’!”

Just a gal with her stick…

Zoomies!

Things are about to get a bit bitey.

Puppy tummies are the best. Not much else to say here.

Cankle power!

Puppy ‘tocks!

“I dindo nuffin’!” but with ears standing up.

Cutie pie, bringer of chaos. A great many of the plants you see in these images will be gone shortly, for the protection of one who puts *everything* in her mouth.

Just to refresh your memory…here was Josie in week 1.

Here she is a week later…

I’d say she grew a little.

Taking in her big back yard.

First day in a new home calls for a nap. This dog — who has become known as momdog — had a “heartbeat.” Josie had 6 siblings — sleeping alone must have been scary.

She found it comforting and it was SO CUTE! This phase would not last long, but it was adorbs while it lasted.

This little mite will be ours.

Indeed…it was to be sooner than we thought…
